The first series of all the Zamonium tales from the magnificent writer Walter Moers. It is in a first-person recount fantasy tale of a young chromo-bear and his adventures.
He first discovers he is 'born' in a nut-shell and is soon saved by the minipirates, having learnt his first few lessons in life and growing in a extraordinary rate, he is soon marooned on a haunted island full of hobgoblins and soon learnt about stardom with his unique skill of crying.
He soon tries to flee the island but is trapped in a sort of enormous one-eyed whale and then continues his various journeys till he must save the mind-washed slaves from the evil piece of zamonium with the help of the magnificent nocturnomoth Professor. Abdullah Nightingale.
This book is filled with many magnificent ideas and is filled with things i think no writer has ever thought of before. It is as marvellous as Lord Of The Rings and I recommend this book to everybody.
