The book that inspired them

The book 'Memiors of Lee Kuan Yew' inspired them. It tells of the story of our great founding father, his life during the japanese occupation and how he lived up to the great man he is today, who in my opinion is as prolific as Ghandi, who deserves the thanks of his people. The book tells how he, a person managed to overcome all odds and 'create' Singapore. He survived the horrific japanese occupation by selling some household needs then worked his way to become the most popular lawyer ever. He is the one who then forged Singapore with his own bare hands and made it the best it is today. this the book that would inspire anybody who read it.

VBTS review

Pretty good short story for people who like some tradition and willing to learn a bit of culture. Still it was only your average fairy tale and so you will likely know it would end. But the traditional value that this book produces is fantastic, it feels like I am in India myself! Good explanation of technically everything based on tradition. So overall i would rate it a 7 out of 10. I enjoyed the build-up too as she was good at dragging it and adding in some nice parts that keep you on tenterhooks.
